A quick sketch of a very familiar problem we gals tend to face...don't tell me it's not true!

Art Trades.

A couple of weeks ago my sister's friend and I thought it be fun to do little art trade. She does these really cute hand made Nintendo DS cases, and due to a recent purchase...I figured I could use one !

So we decided to exchange a DS case that would look like Portal's companion cube, for a drawing of one of her characters done in my own style, and here are the results! :)

I didn't get a chance to post my birthday drawing yesterday, so here it is! To another year full of new adventures :)

Painting it up.

Last year I started a canvas painting project for my mum for her to hang in her office...a year later after working on it on and off and being nitpicky about it, it is finalized! I think. Still could probably use something, but I'm afraid of messing it up altogether ^^;;

It's been awhile since I worked with paint, so there's things that came out great and some not so much. These pics didn't really capture the real colors of the paintings, but just so there's a visual here they are! La Garita in San Juan, Puerto Rico :)

So this past weekend was the world premier of the Legend of Korra, and after watching it not only once, but twice...I cannot wait to see what happens next, and see how this story unfolds. I'll be honest, I missed quite a few episodes of the The Last Airbender, but I was always blown away by the character designs, the animation, and the crazy facial expressions :) But anyway, the series is great so far, and it's got me inspired !

Here's a little something I'm hoping to tweak up and finish. I'm really trying to get into the habit of doing more dynamic poses...challenging stuff, but it must be done!

 Then for some reason The Hunger Games came to mind, so I did a quick sketch with little to no reference...turned out better than I thought so, a few tweaks and it should be good to go !

Hello Interwebs!
